FOUNDING TEAM

Shri Vijay, or Vijaybhai

Shri Vijay, or Vijaybhai as everyone addresses him, is the Chairperson of SACAC. Vijaybhai completed his education at the Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education at Puducherry, following which he joined the Ashram.

Vijaybhai is the ‘Member Executive – Administration and Finance’ at the Sri Aurobindo Society, an international not-for-profit institution working throughout the world for individual perfection, social transformation and human unity based on a deeper spiritual foundation. He helps in the coordination of several projects of the Society including education, rural development, sustainable development and renewable energy, health, leadership and management youth, Indian culture, media, films and television.

Vijaybhai is constantly interacting with people from all over the world – students, teachers, educationists, executives, scientists, seekers and aspirants of truth. Sharing with them his insights on life based on the vision of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.

Shri Pradeep Narang

Born into an industrial family, Shri Pradeep Narang went into business after having completed his master’s in economics from Lucknow University. He looked after his family’s sugar mills and ancillary industries for two decades. He was the President of Indian Sugar Mills Association in 1973 – 74. However, he felt drawn to the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother and went to Puducherry in 1982, giving up business thereafter. He is now the honorary Chairman of Sri Aurobindo Society.

Daljeet Wadhwa

Daljeet Wadhwa is the Founding Director of Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication (SACAC), New Delhi, which was established with the aim of ifusing spiritual and human values into media and arts education. She has steered SACAC over the last ten years, to evolve as an innovative and creative media school.

Prior to setting up SACAC she co-founded the electronic media department at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan in New Delhi. Daljeet has a Masters in Accounts and Statistics from Commerce College, Indore. She is an ardent follower of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother from her formative years. Her quest has been to embody Sri Aurobindo’s dictum “All Life is Yoga”.

ADMIN & ADMISSIONS TEAM

Gurvinder S Kohli

Deemed with the responsibility of admissions for short-term courses and campus management, he is the Senior Manager (Administration) at SACAC. His approachable personality and warm manner make him the man everyone goes to for anything you might need on campus.

With an experience of more than fifteen years spread across the telecom industry in several roles such as customer care and lifecycle management, he has worked with brands like Tata Teleservices, Dishty and Oxygen. He has been associated with SACAC since 2015.

Meenakshi Negi

After completing her bachelor’s in hotel management, Meenakshi worked in the ITES sector for almost ten years. Meenakshi has worked in several BPOs and KPOs like IBM, iGATE and EXL which have led her to honing her skills in quality management.

A process-oriented person, Meenakshi manages admissions for all long-term courses at SACAC – Advertising and Public Relations, Photography, Audio Engineering and Music Production, Creative Documentary Filmmaking Course and also the short-term certificate course in Music Production.

Srishti Dang

After graduating from the Delhi University, Srishti pursued a Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations from SACAC. Efficient, innovative and methodical digital marketing and graphic design personnel with over five years of experience, Srishti has worked with various brands such as Dabur, Omron and McCann HealthCare. She has also worked with McCann WorldWide Group on brands like Rajnigandha and Walmart.

Srishti’s expertise lies in her eye for detail and her strengths as a marketing professional. After working in the industry for almost four years, Srishti joined SACAC as a Digital Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer in 2016.

Technical Support Team

Kishore Kumar Singh

A consistent and competent technical support person, Kishore ensures that all events and classes run smoothly and successfully on campus. Leading all logistical and event-related activities at SACAC, Kishore is at the forefront to help out with any audio-visual aids with his knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Manoj Kr Rai

Manoj is the go-to person for all hardware and technology related issues. Exceptionally hard-working, he ensures that everyone on campus is always connected. Technically sound, Manoj manages all technical support on campus.

Manoj has previously worked as a technical engineer with K D Kohli and Dynatics Solution, which gave him the expertise and understanding of all kinds of equipment.

Rajnish Choubey

Rajnish worked with the Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) for more than two years before joining SACAC. At SACAC, Rajnish manages equipment and technology and overlooks primarily the creative documentary and photography departments.

Support Staff

Baburam Kumar

Baburam Kumar is the gardener at SACAC and the one thing which cannot be missed when you arrive on campus are the lush green lawns maintained by Baburam. He weathers all seasons and manages a healthy garden, creating a visually brilliant and inviting space.

Sanjay Kumar

A key member of the SACAC team, Sanjay is sensitive to the needs of all the members of the teams and the faculty. He is always on top of what people need.

Subhash Kumar

The in-charge of housekeeping at SACAC, Subhash ensures that the institute functions smoothly and the spaces are always clean and fresh. Taking ownership of the facility, Subhash maintains the institute like his own home.

Golu

Hailing from Bulandshahar, Golu is a part of the housekeeping team at SACAC. His pleasant and warm personality and hard-working nature make him a wonderful addition to the team.
